The Body Appropriate | Studio Gallery & Events
During the summer of 2014, this project opened its studio doors as a gallery as well as a social practice that studies the anatomical body: its appropriation, its life, and ultimately its death. As curator, I gather research to understand the less considered means of living and dying. The gallery exhibits private collections from artists, scientists, builders, collectors and my own work as well. By conversing over specimen and exhibits, I hope the studio gallery helps you consider handling the body yourself.
The Body Appropriate project and studio gallery survives through donations and grants.
