Public Dissections of Birds and Mammals
& Recent News
A decomposing, nearly 50-foot sperm whale washed up on a beach in Pacifica. Three weeks later, a humpback whale washed ashore next to it. The details of these whale's untimely demise is being investigated by researchers at us at the Exploratorium, Marine Mammal Center and the California Academy of Sciences. Over the next few months I am working with the Moving Images team at The Exploratorium to create a short documentary called Science in the City: Washed Ashore. We will be looking at how local scientists and institutions interact with incredible finds such as this. The full video will be debuting August, 2015.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to set up a demonstration for your own institution, museum, school or project.

I have been performing gross anatomical public dissections of birds and mammals to the uninitiated and accustomed alike, at the Exploratorium (a museum of Science, Art and Human Perception), The Maker Faire, The Tinkering Studio, California Academy of Sciences and in biological project lab settings.
